Roller Cage

Roller Cage

Roller cages come in various sizes and styles. Someone is always inventing a new system, but I suggest that you choose a tried and proven cage like the one pictured. The roller sleeve simply slides onto this cage with no fancy gizmos, and the handle screws onto a commonly available threaded pole.

The common roller cage is 9 inches wide, and roller sleeves for it are available everywhere. Although I have compared the heavy duty "contractor" type of cage to the cheaper versions, I have found little difference between them. Keep the "cage" part of your roller cage clean and it will provided you with hundreds of hours of service.
